Volunteer with the R.E.D.E.E.M. CDC to provide services to the residents
of Deanwood and nearby communities to meet their needs, foster
self-sufficiency and improve the overall quality of life.
Board Members /Volunteers – The CDC is seeking
professionals and interested individuals with expertise in several
areas, including but not limited to, Real Estate Development,
Architecture, Legal matters, Construction, Fundraising and Accounting,
and social services, to become members of the Board of Directors to
build the organization’s capacity to expand services to the community.
Garden Volunteers – Enthusiastic persons of all
ages to assist with gardening tasks, including raised bed preparation,
fruit and vegetable planting, weeding, harvesting, composting and more.
Volunteers will get an educational and rewarding experience learning how
to grow fruits and vegetables, twice per week.
Outreach Center Volunteers – Volunteers of all ages
to assist with food packaging and distribution to clients. Clothing is
also collected, sorted and displayed for weekly distribution at the
Outreach Center.
