The Outreach Center is open 2 – 4 pm on Wednesday and 9 – 10:30 am on Saturday. Services: Clients also receive health, educational, and employment materials. Spiritual counseling and prayer is offered by Deaconess and Ministers of the Fisherman’s Ministry. Registered Deanwood residents are provided a monthly service and residents from other communities are served based on need.

In 2010, R.E.D.E.E.M. launched Pride’s Joy Garden on newly acquired
properties, to grow vegetables to supplement the food distribution at
the Outreach Center. Annually, the Garden has successfully produced 100s
of gallons of cucumbers, tomatoes, string beans, collards, kale,
squash, and turnip greens.
