About Us

Mr. Hines is a licensed Architect by profession and retired from the federal government January 2014. He is the Chair of the Board of Directors for the REDEEM Community Development Corporation, a 501 C3 nonprofit organization, at the First Baptist Church of Deanwood.

In 2010, Mr. Hines launched Pride’s Joy Garden on newly acquired vacant properties totally half-acre to grow vegetables to supplement the food distribution at its Community Outreach Center. He is the current coordinator for the garden, in which we produced nearly 1000 pounds of produce this year.
